General Terms and Conditions
Park Holiday Congress & Wellness Hotel, Prague 10 – Benice, Czech Republic
Company PARK HOLIDAY a.s., Květnového povstání 194, 103 00 Prague 10 - Benice, Company ID: 27426971, registered in the Commercial Register managed by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, file 10560 (hereafter “Hotel”).
These terms and conditions regulate in particular mutual rights and obligations arising in relation to or on the basis of an agreement concluded between the Hotel and a third party. As such these terms and conditions apply in general to all Hotel guests and agencies, which have not entered into a written agreement on the provision of services.
1. RESERVATION OF ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICES:
- Reservation of accommodation and additional services in the Hotel and confirmation thereof on the part of the Hotel can only be done in writing, i.e. by e-mail
- Reservation is considered valid and binding in case the Hotel confirms it in writing (e-mail) to the guest or if the guest receives an automatic e-mail confirmation generated by the appropriate online reservations system
- Reservation is finalized with a payment card or by making an advance payment in the amount of the stated accommodation and services; individual conditions may also be stipulated
- In case the Hotel or guest fails to comply with the conditions referred to under item 3 of this article, the Hotel may not provide the services
- Information stated on the reservation confirmation is binding to both parties
2. PRICE, CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
- The price is stated per room per night, including breakfast, unless the guest chooses otherwise
- The price of accommodation includes 10% VAT; municipal fee in the sum of CZK 50/person per night is not included in the accommodation price, the guest will pay this fee at the Hotel reception
- Cancellation of a confirmed reservation may also be done in writing only, i.e. via e-mail; the specific manner of cancellation of reservation is determined by the reservations system, which was used to make the reservation
- When cancelling a reservation that was made through external providers (e.g. booking.com) it is necessary to cancel the reservation also with this provider in a manner required by this provider and under the conditions applicable to the reservation
- Change of reservation, i.e. transfer of ordered services to a different term, is considered as cancellation of the original reservation and it follows the same regime as cancellation of reservation
- Accommodation may be paid in cash, whereas the Hotel accepts CZK and EUR currency; in case of payment by credit/payment card the sum will be charged in CZK
- The Hotel reserves the right to preliminarily pre-authorize the guest’s card up to the overall sum due for the accommodation
- The Hotel reserves the right to preliminarily charge the overall sum due for the accommodation to the guest ’s submitted payment/credit card, if it is stipulated by the conditions of the reservation concerned
- In case the guest fails to appear on the reservation date, the reservation is cancelled and the Hotel is entitled to charge costs according to the cancellation terms applicable to the reservation concerned
3. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF GUESTS:
- The guest is entitled to use the reserved premises and equipment thereof, as well as equipment of the common premises
- The guest is liable for any damage caused in the room during their stay and agrees to pay any possible costs for repairs, replacement or special cleaning; the amount of compensation will be determined by the Hotel
- The guest is entitled to claim all defects and possible shortcomings during their stay at the Hotel to allow the Hotel to rectify them
- The guest is entitled to pay the costs associated with using the Hotel’s services, including the auxiliary services on the day of their departure at the latest, unless agreed otherwise; in case of failure to pay the sum owed the Hotel is entitled to bill (charge) the corresponding sum from the submitted guest’s payment card after their departure
- The guest may withdraw from the agreement based on the cancellation terms or in case the Hotel failed to provide them the services agreed on in advance corresponding to the Hotel’s standards
- Check-in time to the Hotel is 14:00 on the day of arrival; sooner check in is possible only after agreement with the Hotel and for a possible fee
- Check-out time is until 12:00 (noon) on the day of departure; late check-out is possible after agreement with the Hotel and for a fee
- There is no smoking area in the whole Hotel; violation of this regulation and smoking in the Hotel premises entitles the Hotel to charge a penalty to the guest in the sum of CZK 5.000 for cleaning the room or Hotel premises; the prohibition of smoking and therewith associated penalty also apply to smoking electronic cigarettes; smoking is possible only in front of the Hotel in designated area/s
- The time between 22:00 and 6:00 is the silence time; conduct disturbing other guests during quiet hours is strictly prohibited (it includes loud music, TV, shouting in rooms, hallways and other disturbing conduct); in case of serious breach of this rule the Hotel may charge the guests a financial penalty of up to CZK 10.000 or in necessary cases to call the police
- Pets are not allowed in any areas of the Hotel
- Entry of children 3 – 15 years old to the wellness area ClubWell (incl. pool) is possible only when accompanied by parents from 10:00 – 19:00
- Entry to the fitness area EnerGym is possible for adults only (from 18 years old)
4. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE HOTEL:
- The Hotel is obliged to secure accommodation for the guest based on the services agreed on in advance, which correspond to the Hotel’s standards
- In case the Hotel cannot accommodate a guest based on a previously made and confirmed reservation, it is obliged to secure adequate accommodation for the guest in another facility
5. FINAL PROVISIONS:
- These terms and conditions are effective as of 1. 1. 2022 and the Hotel reserves the right to amend them and the gusts are obliged to comply with the up to date version of these terms and conditions
- The Hotel collects personal data of guests only for the necessary time until the end of provision of the agreed services and it does not provide this data to third parties
- Legal relations as well as any other issues not explicitly regulated hereby shall be governed by applicable legal regulations of the Czech Republic and other internal regulations of the hotel
- The body providing supervision over the consumer protection and the entity of the extra-judicial settlement of consumer disputes shall be the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, seated at Štěpánská 15, Prague 2, 12000, email: adr@coi.cz.
