Allow us to present to you a cake made to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Czech Republic. This cake was created on the basis of requests of the presidential office, which contacted the Czech Association of Chefs and Pastry Chefs. The Park Holiday pastry chef team had the honour of making this cake in the form of a plastic map of the Czech Republic.
It took 48 hours to make, and it weighed a respectable 86.50 kg. The reward for all this hard work was the presentation and service of the cake which was cut by the hand of the cake’s creator, the head pastry chef of Park Holiday in front of president Václav Klaus and his wife Livia Klausova during a celebratory evening banquet.
